Charlotte County Sports Park

Today, we are going to update you on the status of the Charlotte Sports Park. The stadium is located just across the street from the Charlotte County Fairgrounds and next door to The Twisted Fork. As you may know, the Tampa Bay Rays have been holding spring training at Charlotte Sports Park since 2009. The venue was closed last year due to damage from Hurricane Ian. According to the below article from Fox 4 News, the county is working diligently to ensure the stadium will be open for the 2024 spring training season! This will be great news for local businesses, as many folks travel down to see the Rays play. Yet another reason to consider making Rotonda, South Gulf Cove, or Englewood your new hometown! With a wonderful area for hiking, fishing, boating, sports, and leisure activities; it’s a no-brainer!
