New Resort and Old Sport - Finally Open!
/Today we are going to share some new information about the Sunseeker Resort right at the Punta Gorda bridge. Owned by Allegiant Travel Company, the resort is officially open. It is a massive 2 acre property with over 780 rooms and 7 restaurants! This business is going to be very helpful to the local economy. According to the below Fox4 article, Sean Doherty, director of tourism for Punta Gorda/Englewood Beach Convention Bureau said “The impact is going to come partially through the bed tax. The tax is a 5% fee on your hotel bill. A portion of it goes to the tourism council, which is used to help promote the area.“ This tax will help the Convention Bureau to advertise and bring more tourists into the local economy. Did we mention the Tampa Bay Rays will be resuming Spring Training this year at the Charlotte County Sports Park?? After a closure since Hurricane Ian, tickets are finally available for February online. We would like to urge any vacationers who enjoy visiting the local area to consider meeting with Southwest Florida Dream Builders to talk about building a home here. A home built in Southwest Florida has a high value, a prime location, and could earn quite a bit in rent (if you aren’t living here full-time). It is definitely worth considering. Let us convince you!
We are in our model at 878 Boundary Boulevard in Rotonda (that’s the corner of Rotonda Blvd. East and Boundary Blvd.) from 9-3 Monday-Friday. If you would like to know more about land or homes in the local area, be sure to stop by and save a spot for your dream home today!
